What Joe does
Everyday servicing, rego inspections and the bigger mechanical jobs, all from one workshop in Toukley. It's the list straight off the De Salvo sign, plus the air-con work Joe added later.

Pink slips for cars and light vehicles at an NSW Government Authorised Safety Check station. Mobile pink slips available.

The workshop's specialty. Worn pads, grinding brakes and suspension work, checked and sorted.

Automotive air-conditioning
A/C not cold?
Joe re-gasses car air-conditioning and can even come to you. When the fault is deeper, like an evaporator leak behind the dash, the dash comes out and the job gets done.

Why the oil change matters
This one came in with a seized engine. The oil hadn't been kept up, and a piston went straight through the block. The fix was a new motor.
As the workshop's own post put it, regular maintenance of your vehicle is super important. A log book service costs a lot less than a new motor.

Excellent mechanic and excellent customer service. I live on my own so my first consideration was finding a mechanic close to home. Completely transparent, gave good advice and his pricing is sharp. I have lived in Toukley for 3 years and I am quite diligent when it comes to looking after my vehicle. Finding a good mechanic hasn't been easy. Won't be going anywhere else.

I honestly can't recommend Jo at De Salvo Automotive & Air-conditioning enough. From start to finish, he went above and beyond to help me with my car. He took the time to explain everything clearly, was incredibly patient, and never made me feel rushed or silly for asking questions. Most importantly, he is completely trustworthy, which is so hard to find these days. Knowing my car was in safe hands gave me real peace of mind. I'm so grateful for his help and will definitely be a long-term customer.

Wow! I cannot recommend Joe highly enough. He is very knowledgeable, affordable and provides great service. From the very beginning he was really quick and efficient at getting back to me, he booked me in for my car to be re-gassed much sooner than the other local businesses, at a reasonable price and I had my car back an hour later. When my car broke down Joe immediately organised to come straight over to inspect the vehicle. It is nice to have a mechanic you can trust who is trying to provide good service at an affordable price. Joe went above and beyond, I wont be going anywhere else now.
